  2. Wham 1.8.2

    • Wham never installs an update over a copy it didn't come from, such as one built from source. Updates

  3. Wham 1.8.0

    • When an update waits for you (Update Automatically is off, or Wham could not install it), the switch in the menu bar now carries a small pink dot, and its tooltip says to right-click. In the menu, the Update to Wham line has the same dot. Updates

    • Check for Updates keeps the menu open now: the line itself shows Wham checking, with a small spinner, then says how it went. Updates Menu

    • Check for Updates, in the menu, looks for a new version right away: it installs it, or tells you that you already have the latest. Updates
    • With Update Automatically off, Wham installs nothing on its own, but its menu still tells you when a new version is out, one click away. Updates
