What's new

Only the changes about Reliability, newest first.

  1. Wham 1.8.3

    • Wham's alerts, such as the offer to move it to Applications, now always come to the front. Before, they could open behind the app you were using. Reliability
  2. Wham 1.8.2

    • Only one Wham runs at a time: opening a second copy brings back the first, so you never see two switches. Reliability
    • Open at Login follows Wham: if the copy that turned it on has moved, the one in Applications takes over. Reliability
  3. Wham 1.7.0

    • While on, Wham is kept out of App Nap: under a closed lid, its battery, heat and time checks come on time. Reliability
    • A Mac that shut down with Wham on, without Wham quitting (the battery ran out, macOS crashed), now gets its sleep back when it starts again, unless Stay On After Restart is checked: macOS keeps the setting across a restart. Reliability
  4. Wham 1.2.0

    • If Wham ever goes away without quitting, a crash or a force quit, your Mac gets its sleep back within a second. Reliability
  5. Wham 1.0.0

    • Wham opens at login, and offers to move itself to Applications when opened from the download. Reliability
    • Signed by its developer and notarized by Apple. From a terminal, wham on and wham off. Terminal Reliability
